NEET PG 2026 Result OUT: Results released on http://natboard.edu.in, learn the complete process to download cut-off, rank, and scorecard
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has finally ended the wait for millions of doctors. The NEET PG 2026 results have been released today, September 24, 2026. Candidates who appeared for admission to MD, MS, DNB, and Post Graduate Diploma courses can now check their results on the official website, http://natboard.edu.in.
This year, the exam was conducted in two phases. The main exam was held on August 30, 2026, and 263,544 candidates appeared. A power outage at the Sitapura center in Jaipur affected the exam for 2,445 candidates, who had to retake the exam on September 5, 2026. The board has compiled the final results for both sessions.
How to check results? Direct link and step-by-step process
To check results, candidates must follow the steps below:
1. First, visit the official NBEMS website at http://natboard.edu.in or http://nbe.edu.in.
2. Click on the NEET PG 2026 Result link in the Public Notice section on the homepage.
3. A PDF will open, displaying your roll number-wise rank and score.
4. Use Ctrl+F to search your roll number.
5. Additionally, for individual scorecards, go to the Applicant Login and log in with your Application ID and password.
6. Download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
NBEMS has stated that individual scorecards will be available for download starting October 1, 2026, and will be available on the website for six months from the date of release. The answer key will also be released on October 1st, where candidates will be able to see their Question ID, correct answer, and response.
NEET PG 2026 Cut-Off: How many marks are required for each category?
This time, NBEMS has also released the category-wise qualifying cut-offs. Out of a total of 720 marks, the cut-offs are as follows:
50th percentile for General and EWS categories, with a cut-off score of 262 marks.
45th percentile for General-PwBD categories, with a cut-off score of 244 marks.
40th percentile for SC, ST, and OBC categories, with a cut-off score of 226 marks.
Candidates who score above this cut-off will be considered eligible for NEET PG 2026 counseling.
What information will be included in the result?
The result PDF and scorecard will contain complete candidate information, including application number, roll number, total score out of 720, NEET PG All India Rank, All India 50% Quota Rank, and category rank. Based on this rank, candidates will be allotted seats in government and private medical colleges under the All India Quota and State Quota.
Exam Pattern and What's Next?
The NEET PG 2026 exam was conducted in a single shift from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. A total of 180 multiple-choice questions were asked, all in English only.
After the results, the next major step is counseling. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will soon release the All India Quota Counseling schedule, while individual states will issue their own state counseling notifications.
